My name is Shimuel Jones, the third of six siblings. I was born in the year 1990. My father, Kirk Anthony Jones is an artist, as a result, I inherited much of his talents.

At the tender age of 17, I won the Castellani House Art Competition. There I met Philbert Gajadhar, one of the chief judges in the competition. He coincidently was also the Head of the Art Department, University of Guyana. He applauded my work and encouraged me to apply for the Bachelors in Art Degree program. I took his advice and four years later graduated as the best graduating student.

I am also a certified Cartoon Animator. Having received training from three International Cartoon Animators. Two of those years I was the Senior Cartoon Animator at an Animation Studio.

I have concluded some time now that I was placed on this earth to be an Artist. It is my life long dream to live out this purpose to the best of my ability.
